Well knowing about China is really interesting. My group have done our best to do this blog. We all cooperated with each other and even planned very well who is doing what.I really can't wait to go visit China. I think it will be fun and exciting, and it is also the time to bond with our fellow mates both in China and East view pupils. I am really fortunate to be with this group because i know that everyone of us put our best effort in doing this blog. Hope to put more fun and interesting facts about China once we are back from the trip. Till then see you. (=

I feel very excited because it’s the first time I’m going overseas with my friends and without my family. I think that this is an opportunity to get to know everyone and students from China. From the research I did, I learnt a lot about the sports and foods in Kunming. Hmm…. Talking about the foods in Kunming sure makes me hungry. Well, I’m sure we are going to have lots of fun there, so please, teleport me to 11th November because I just can’t wait!!

(After Kunming trip)

The whole trip was SUPER FUN!!! Learnt many things over there like Chinese Calligraphy, Taiji and etc. The food there is quite oily, but overall I think it quite okay. My favourite day is day 4, the day we went to the Yunnan Minority Village. That day the dinner was the best! We had KFC!! Day 5 is also very fun!! Anyway, the whole trip was FUN!! AWWww... I just want to go back to Kunming with my friends! Before the trip I didn't really want to go to Kunming but at the end of the trip, I didn't want to LEAVE Kunming!! It was just too Fun! Out of ten stars, I will rate it eleven Stars!!

Well the trip is damn fun … we learnt a lot of stuff over there … We learnt the History of the place of interest, we also learnt Chinese calligraphy, taiji and other stuff. The food over there is quite oily though it was nice. The food we ate is a combination of Singapore food with Kunming cooking … that seems weird but it tastes nice. My favourite day was day 6, the day where we went for home visittation, we had a lot of fun with the buddies appointed to us … they are nice and friendly… including their parents!!! How I hope we can turn back the time to 11 Nov… before the trip, I thought it might not be as fun as staying in Singapore with more friends… but during the time in Kunming I enjoyed myself with all my friends... there was joy and laughter… In Kunming we can even chat with our old buddies and even our new buddies … I felt that it is quite a pity as we did not bid farewell to our old buddies … but at least we can chat with them by QQ (their china MSN)… I hope that we can go back to Kunming… It is damn fun with our friends together … I would rate 100 stars out of 100 stars for this Kunming trip … FULL MARKS
- AlanI totally had a great time in the 8 days trip to Kunming. From there, i learn lots of stuff. Such as, the calligraphy, chinese painting, some martial arts(taiji and chang jun) and lots more. I do learn about their history and culture too. My first impression on Anning Middle School was that the school was approximate 5 times bigger than our school. They have this room that they kept on what achievement that they had achieve and also about the history of it which i had forgot what the room was called. The students there were super friendly. Not to forget the food from their canteen was super delicious! I don't mind eating those everyday in school. Compared to ours, theirs are way better. But then, the food at the restaurant outside is always salty and oily plus spicy too. Overall the food is not that bad at all. The tourist attraction among those we went the best was the Yunan Nationalities Village. We totally had lots of fun there. We bought some stuff from there like the umbrella, wooden swords, chinese shoes(i do not know what it is called) and etc. The home stay we had was great. The family which i went to their place with Wasilah and Hazirah greeted us so well. They even got for us gifts. At night, we did our shopping at the nearby shopping mall but i did not get myself anything except food. The last day in Kunming, i did get a lot of stuff from the flower market. It was sad that the week ended so fast. We got our farewell goodbye at the airport by the vice-Principal and some of teachers too.
Overall for the trip was great. If i had a chance to go there again, i would go.
- NamirahI really enjoyed myself at Kunming,China. There was plenty of things that cannot be seen here in Singapore. I also learned a lot of exciting and interesting things there. I learned how to do Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese painting, Cutting of papers and even their history. I also got to meet my old buddy Ou yang. I missed her a lot and i was glad that i finally met her again. I was even introduced to new buddies but i prefer my home-visitation buddy and Ou yang. The other two were like blur and didn't understand me at all. I had difficulties communicating with them but overall they were very sweet and kind to me.
The food there were alright according to me. It was spicy and oily, mostly oily. I prefer food here than there but i prefer their food to our school food. Mostly i enjoyed myself i got to see their famous tourist attraction. I like the Nationality village and their famous flower market. Got to buy souvenirs for my family for a cheaper rate. The other thing i enjoy was when we got to try out the tribal costumes and use it for the two dance.
Overall i loved being there experiencing cold weathers, climbing mountains and people staring at us for no reason. Haha. Now all i can say is that i miss the trip. Hope after my O' level i get to go there and meet my buddies again.
- WasilahI personally feel that this trip was enjoyable because during this trip, I have made a lot of new friends not only from our school but from Anning Middle school. I love the weather there back in Kunming because in the morning and evening it will be cold and once in the afternoon it will be warm.
When I was in Anning middle school, I have learnt more about the Chinese culture. We learnt chinese calligraphy, taiji, chang quan, Yi and Tai dance (cultural dance). Among all of the lessons, I enjoyed the dance class the most :D
The food in Kunming is kinda oilly but still not that bad as the food in Shanghai. At least some of the food in Kunming are about the same as Singapore style.
The Scenic area in Kunming was AMA-ZING. It makes me curious how mother nature can come out with such beautiful artifacts. Among all the attractions that we have been to, I loved Jiuxiang and the stone forest the most because the scenery was nice and when we were there... WE HAD TIME to SHOP ! YAY !
I have decided to go back to Kunming once my O lvls are over and done with.
To take a break & ENJOY ! :D
haha! If there's such opportunity next year again, I will definitely grab that chance and go there again.
KUNMING IS FUNNNNNNN
